BIIAB Level 2 Award in Door Supervisors (ADS)

The Level 2 Award in Door Supervision is designed for door supervisors already working in licensed retail or wishing to start work in the industry. There are four units to this course; each unit is studied over a day.

To obtain a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) you need to satisfy three requirements:

* Pass an identity check

* Pass a criminal record check

* Possess a recognised door supervisor qualification

Unit 1 - Working in the Private Security Industry


Unit 2 - Conflict Management for the Private Security Industry


Unit 3 - Working as a Door Supervisor


Unit 4 - Physical Intervention


What does the assessment involve?


Each unit is assessed

Unit 1 - 25 multiple choice questions


Unit 2 - 40 multiple choice questions


Unit 3 - 40 multiple choice questions


Unit 4 is assessed by the tutor


Time: 4 Day course 9.30am till 5.00pm


This course is now available from £200 plus vat per delegate, in addition, Poppleston Allen offers a combined service whereby we complete both the training course and exam, and complete and submit the full SIA Licence Application. While you are taking the course the tutor will guide you through the application forms. The tutor will then verify any relevant documents and photographs, re-check the full application and then submit it to the Security Industry Authority. All from just £350 + VAT together with the application fee to the SIA of £220
