David Elphick - BII Course Trainer

David Elphick has over 25 years experience in the Licensed Trade and brings a wide range of skills and knowledge to Poppleston Allen Training. Having worked as a General Manager and Licensee in Hotels, Bars, Nightclubs and Live Music Venues, he joined Poppleston Allen in 2005 to help develop Poppleston Allen Training into one of the leading UK Training Companies specialising in the Licensed Trade. David delivers over 10 different courses for Poppleston Allen Training including Personal Licence, Designated Premises Supervisors and Licensing Practitioners.

Since leaving to join Jongleurs Comedy Clubs as Managing Director in 2010, and then setting up his own consultancy company, David has retained a training and consultative role with Poppleston Allen Training as well as working with some of the UK’s leading leisure companies, including Luminar and Novus Leisure.

A Fellow of the British Institute of Innkeeping and a holder of Training Professional status with the BIIAB, David is fully committed to helping clients develop their careers alongside the wide range of qualifications offered by the BIIAB.
